Reviews, Resources, and Ramblings
Hey there! Welcome to Ghost Light Publishing – The Blog.
I’m L.C. Ireland.
I’m an author, playwright, and educator. Writing is a huge part of my life. I work with hundreds of students each year as an Arts Specialist and language arts consultant. I’ve written several plays for kids and I published my first novel last year. (Hooray!)
But before all that, I was a reader.
This blog is my way of getting back in touch with the hobby that started it all. I will also use this space to share useful information and resources for other indie authors. It will also be my little corner of the internet (does the internet have corners?) to share my thoughts and feelings about anything that might be on my mind.
If you would like to have your book reviewed on this blog, please check out my REVIEW POLICY.

Annie Murphy can see the future. But can she stop the bad things she Sees from happening?
Overall Rating: Cover Rating: Effective. Aside from the words "A Collection of Stories" being too difficult to read along the bottom, I found the cover fit the content quite nicely. I will admit, I wasn't really excited to read this book. I didn't much enjoy the last...
I am going to take a turn from my usual topics about writing and publishing to talk about something really personal. I want to tell you of a very personal struggle that nearly consumed my life. This is a story about a cupcake, abuse, and years of hurt and turmoil....
I am so excited to finally be able to reveal the cover of my second novel, Follow the Music. I absolutely adore this cover, designed by me and illustrated by the incredibly talented Fariza Dzatalin. She took my vision and made it pop! I have been dying to share it...
